Porous profiles BOREX PRP et al .

Porous rubber profiles (PRP, gernit) are a unique building material. They are widely used in the construction and manufacturing industries. The material for obtaining a porous profile is synthetic rubber with the addition of plasticizers, vulcanizing components, porophores and other fillers. They are cords of round, square or rectangular cross-section. The surface is moisture-proof due to the durable surface film. Porous profiles are made by squeezing the prepared mass at a certain temperature through special matrices under high pressure. Closed pores are formed inside the cord by a chemical vulcanization process. Depending on the cross-section size of the profile and its density, the pores can be of different sizes.
